Coronavirus advice/information
Updated guidance on infection control in education settings will, from 1 April, now advise:
Children testing positive - stay home for 3 days and avoid contact with others. Return to school after the 3 days assuming well enough (date of positive test is day 0; return on day 4).
Children with symptoms of respiratory infection (a cough; sneezing; a stuffy or runny nose; a sore throat; headaches; muscle aches; breathlessness, tight chest or wheezing) AND a high temperature (37.8° or above) who are unable to take a COVID-19 test – should stay at home and avoid contact with others until they no longer have a high temperature and are well enough to attend.
