• Group photos

  Tempest Photography will be in nursery on Wednesday 22nd May between 9.30 and 10.15 to take group/class photos (for both rooms). It is a lovely keepsake to remind them of their keyworker groups and friends at Oaklands.
  
  There is no obligation to buy anything. Details of how to purchase them, if you wish to, will be sent after the 22nd.
  
  If you do not want your child to take part, please let us know. Also, if your child doesn't usually attend on Wednesdays but you would like to bring them in to be included in the photo, please speak to your keyworker to arrange.
  
  There won't be any individual photos taken, these photos are usually taken in the Autumn term.

• Sponsored Walk Saturday 9th March

  We would like to invite children and their families to take part in a sponsored walk on Saturday 9th March to raise money to buy some new resources for our outdoor area.  The 3 year old room would like to buy new wooden blocks and the 2 year room (Acorns) are raising money for new bikes.

  The walk will take place at Apedale County Park (Loomer Road entrance) and we would like to meet everyone by the Education Centre opposite the cafe at 10.00am.

  We are holding Open Days for prospective parents on Wednesday 13th March and Wednesday 8th May.  Drop in anytime from 9.30am to 11.30am or 1pm to 3pm.

• Winter illnesses

  It's fine to send your child to nursery with a minor cough or common cold if they feel well enough and do not have a high temperature.  If you don't feel your child is well enough to attend, please let us know.
