Oaklands admits children as follows (subject to available places):
- our 2 year old room admits children from the age of 2
- our 3 and 4 year old room admits children from the term after your child turns 3 (we usually have intakes for this room every September and January).

Funding
2 year olds
Some families may be eligible for a funded 2 year old place if they meet certain criteria - please click on this link for more information:
3 and 4 year olds
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours free nursery education per week in term time. (some families will be eligible for a free 30 hours place, subject to criteria - please click on the link for details):
Your child is eligible from the beginning of the term after their 3rd birthday:
Children born between / Free place starts
1st January – 31st March / Summer Term (from 1st April)
1st April – 31st October / Autumn Term (from 1st September)
1st September – 31st December / Spring Term (from 1st January)
The nursery will submit a claim on your behalf for the free childcare.
