Starting in September 2026, nursery children in England from households receiving Universal Credit will be eligible for free school meals. If you are eligible and apply successfully, nursery aged pupils can get a free meal on the days they are in education both before and after lunchtime.

The child must be main‑registered at the school to count as a pupil.

At the moment we don’t provide lunches or have catering on site, however we will review lunch options when we have assessed how many children will be eligible for the free meals.
