Before and After school care (and Holiday schemes)
Oaklands Nursery is open 9.00am to 3.30pm (term-time only).
For families that need childcare before and after nursery hours there are a number of options to help you. We work closely with care clubs and a number of childminders who look after the children and bring them to and from nursery. They also offer holiday schemes during the school holidays.
Many of the care clubs and childminders collect and drop off at the local schools, so that when children move on from Oaklands, families can continue to use these providers, if required, and children are already familiar with them, which helps with a smooth transition.

Five Star Care Club (based at Ellison Primary)
Arrangements have been made for two members of staff to walk the children to/from Oaklands.
