  Easter Bonnets (**Mighty Oaks room only**) - 25th March 11am and 2pm

  INSET day (nursery closed) - Friday 27th March

  Nursery reopens after Easter break - Monday 13th April

• Music makers

  Our weekly music and movement sessions start again from next Tuesday 20th January until Easter (every Tuesday except 17th February as it's half term).

   

  It will be a 9 week course costing £18.00. Full details are below:

  🎶Music & Movement Sessions Starting Tuesday 20th January!

  Run by Oaklands staff and held at Ellison Primary Academy.

   

  Each session includes:

  ✨Singing and rhymes

  ✨Dancing and movement

  ✨Instruments and sensory play

  ✨Fun, friendly activities to support early development

   

  Suitable for children 12months-4years.

  📅Day & Time: Tuesdays (Term time only) 1:30-2:45pm

  🏫Venue: Ellison Primary Academy, Ellison St, Wolstanton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Newcastle ST5 0BL

  💷Cost: £2 per child each week

• Farm on Wheels

  We had a lovely visit from The Farm on Wheels!

  The children enjoyed meeting all the animals. Thank you to Stella from The Farm on Wheels, it was a magical time for the children!

  

• Christmas events/dates

  📢🎄Dear Parents/Carers,
  A few reminders/dates of events due to take place over the next couple of weeks:
  
  ⭐Wednesday 10th December – Farm on Wheels. We will be having a visit from The Farm on Wheels during the normal nursery day. They will bring lots of animals including a donkey, goat, chicken and rat!
  
  ⭐Friday 12th December – last day for donations to our Christmas Hampers for our raffle (if you are able to donate). All monies raised will go towards nursery resources. There are labels on the Christmas tree in the foyer and each label suggests an item to donate
  
  ⭐Friday 12th December – Christmas Jumper Day, voluntary donations to Douglas Macmillan (if you are able to)
  
  ⭐Wednesday 17th December – Christmas Sing a long (details to follow)
  
  ⭐Thursday 18th December – Christmas parties during normal nursery hours
  
  ⭐Friday 19th December – INSET day (nursery closed for children)
  
  ⭐Monday 5th January – nursery reopens after the Christmas holidays

  Thank You to Micro Scooters!

  We’d like to extend a big thank you to Micro Scooters for their generous support of our nursery. Thanks to their kind donation, our little ones now have access to helmets, accessories, and a fantastic new balance bike to enjoy outdoors.

  Did you know Micro offer scooters with seats? These are perfect for toddlers just starting out, helping them build confidence and coordination in a fun and safe way.

  We’re so grateful for their contribution—we look forward to using them in our outdoor provision!

  

• OAKLANDS OPEN DAYS

  Are you looking for nursery provision or do you know any families who are looking for a nursery for a 2, 3, or 4 year old? We are holding Open Days on:

  Wednesday 3rd December

  and Tuesday 17th March

  Visit times:

  10am to 11am,

  or 1.30pm to 2.30pm

  or 4.30pm to 6pm

  We have another Open Day on Saturday 13th June 10am-12pm

  There's no need to book, just call in on any of the dates/time above.
