Maths Champions
We are excited to be taking part in Maths Champions training with Mrs Davies, Miss Birchall and the whole staff team developing their knowledge and bringing lots of fun maths experiences into our setting.
This week we went on a number hunt outdoors! The children then counted objects and matched them to the numbers they found.
Maths is everywhere and there are lots of easy ways to support your child at home:
-Count everyday objects,
-Spot shapes around your home and outdoors
-Find and make patterns
-Compare size
-Talk about what happens next in your daily routines.
Most importantly, have fun talking about maths together!
