  • Winter illnesses

    Tue 30 Jan 2024

At this time of year, many schools and nurseries have children who are unwell with winter illnesses. These guides include information for parents about how to spot the signs of illnesses and when to keep your child off nursery:

It's fine to send your child to nursery with a minor cough or common cold if they feel well enough and do not have a high temperature.  If you don't feel your child is well enough to attend, please let us know.

The NHS has useful links about symptoms for illnesses which can be common at this time of year:

    Mon 15 Jan 2024

We are very excited to announce that we will be introducing Class Dojo to Oaklands over the coming weeks. Class Dojo is a communication platform that we will be using in school between staff and parents. Class Dojo makes it easy for us to capture magic moments, messages and send important updates to parents and carers, as well as allowing both parents and staff to send private messages. Over the coming week you will receive an invite to join us!

More information can be found here: Letter re Class Dojo
